This time around I made the cake just as huge (it was 4 layers) but I went with a butter cream frosting instead of fondant. I made fondant accents; clouds to put on the side, a #2 and name tag colored with edible food coloring and made to somewhat look like the Toy Story logo.
I had made some cute little Buzz Light year and Woody fondant accents as well to place on the side... unfortunately both of them were very fragile and they broke. I was so bummed out that I just threw them in the trash prior to taking any pictures. Pretty bummed about that too!
So I ran to the store and bought some little mini figures to place on top... luckily it ended up working out great. Jayden liked them so much that he played with them all night, plus it was a nice little extra for him to take home!
Vanilla cake with a fresh strawberry & vanilla pudding filling between each layer and a vanilla-bean swiss butter cream outside.
