Really if it could always be a crisp 60-65 degrees outside... just cool enough to wear a jacket everyday... and the leaves were always those beautiful warm reds, golds, and oranges, and I could eat squash, sweet potatoes, stuffing and turkey all year long... yeah that would be alright with me!

The s'more.
Some of you might disagree with me about the s'more being an "autumn flavor" some might say it's more of a summer-by-the-campfire dealy. Well for me, we camped a lot when I was a kid late in the summer and into fall... and I always remember having s'mores when it was that crisp 60 degrees out and the leaves were changing. So for me s'mores say autumn.
I know what you're thinking "a macaron and a s'more that's like an oxymoron... it's like mixing champagne and beer--is she crazy?" well yes, I might just be... crazy genius! I swear, the s'more macaron might just be one of my all-time favorite flavors. The graham cracker shell mixed with the dark chocolate and a warm toasty marshmallow... um yes... yes please!
