Navy Ship Cake

This is a Navy Ship cake I made for my great-grandfather's 90th birthday. He is a WW II Veteran and was on The U.S.S Bushnell in 1942. So this cake is in honor of the time he spent on that ship.  It's a pretty simple design not many bells and whistles like an actual Naval ship.... but since it's entirely edible I think I did a pretty good job.
His birthday is not until December, but two of my cousins will be heading to Afganistan before his actual birthday, so we decided to throw him an early one so that my cousins could be there for it.
Here are some photo's.

A very un-Halloween Birthday Cake

This is a cake I made for my Grandmother's birthday... which happens to be on Halloween. Her whole life she has never been able to fully enjoy her birthday because it was on Halloween.  Her friends never wanted to come to her birthday party, they always wanted to go to Halloween parties, and go trick or treating.
So this year I decided to make her something VERY Un-halloween.
