Volcano cupcakes! Red velvet cake with an oreo cookie on the bottom, cookie crumbs, and a mini oreo cookie atop cream cheese frosting. Yum!

Triplets!

I made some super fun cakes for 5 year old triplets, two girls and a boy.

Jonny, loves Transformers. So I made a 2D fondant Transformer logo and put it on top of a chocolate cake covered in blue fondant.

Hannah & Lily are two little princess' whose favorite colors are, what else, pink & purple!

Lily wanted a vanilla cake, with vanilla frosting and purple fondant. The tiara's were plastic ones purchased from the store. We thought it would be super fun to have the tiara's be something the girls could wear, rather than having fondant tiara's that would just get eaten.

Hannah wanted a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting, and pink fondant.

Because both girls love pink & purple I played off those colors and created accents for both cakes; Lily's cake got pink ribbon and Hannah's cake got a purple ribbon and their tiara's were slightly different as well, both had purple & pink accents, but Hannah's had a diamond shape and Lily's a butterfly shape.

Making these cakes was super fun, I especially loved that all 3 had completely different ideas about what they wanted. And I have to say, delivering the cakes was the best part, all 3 of the kids were ecstatic, and their Mom too... wow, what a reaction!  They were very fun clients, and I hope they come back next year!
